Ever wonder if there are people nearby following the Running Mate 5K101 program just like you? Chances are good if you live in one of these cities listed below!
You would expect to see some of the larger metropolitan areas to make the Top 10 list, but some of these might surprise you. I’ve never really done any formal advertising of the 5K101 program other than just submitting the podcast to iTunes, so I guess it just goes to show you how “word of mouth” can gain momentum.
Note: These figures are based entirely on the demographics of the Running Mate fan page as provided by Facebook, which surprisingly is a very small percentage of the # of people across the world who download the podcast. The 5K101 podcast receives an average of 51,000 downloads around the globe each month, and yet there are only 3,700 “fans” on the fan page…
10. Nashville just barely sneaks into the Top 10 with 36 Running Mates.
9. Kansas City takes the #9 spot with 45 Running Mates.
8. Philadelphia comes in at #8 with 49 Running Mates.
7. New York comes in at #7 with 58 Running Mates.
6. Chicago takes the #6 spot with 60 Running Mates.
5. Seattle lands in the Top 5 with 75 Running Mates.
4. Livingston, NJ takes the #4 spot with 80 Running Mates.
3. Doylestown, PA grabs the #3 spot with 98 Running Mates.
2. The #2 spot goes to Atlanta, GA with 113 Running Mates.
1. And the #1 place to find your fellow Running Mates goes to Dallas, TX!
